GETTING THERE

Travelling from Glasgow International Airport
Glasgow International Airport is only a 15 minute drive from Hilton Glasgow. If you are travelling by car, as you leave the airport, follow signs for Glasgow M8 city centre. Crossing the River Clyde on the Kingston Bridge, leave the M8 at Junction 17 and go onto St George's Road (A804). At Charing Cross Junction, follow signs for M8 West and A804. Branch left onto the A804 and the Hilton Glasgow hotel is on your left-hand side. Taxi’s are widely available at Glasgow International Airport and can be found outside the terminal building. The taxi fare is approximately £20.00.

Travelling from Glasgow Prestwick International Airport
Glasgow Prestwick International Airport is a 40 drive from Hilton Glasgow. If you are travelling by car, follow signs for the A79 and then the A78. At Dutch House Roundabout, take the first exit onto the A77. Follow this road onto the M77 (signposted for Glasgow and Edinburgh) and carry on as it merges into the M8. Leave the M8 at Junction 17 and go onto St George's Road (A804). At Charing Cross Junction, follow signs for M8 West and A804. Branch left onto the A804 and the Hilton Glasgow hotel is on your left-hand side. Glasgow Prestwick International Airport has its own train station connected to the airport by a covered walkway. Trains leave every 30 minutes for Glasgow Central Station where you can catch a taxi or walk to complete your journey.

Travelling by Train
Glasgow’s Central Station is only a 10 minute walk from Hilton Glasgow. Alternatively, taxis are widely available outside the station building. The taxi fare is approximately £5.00. Glasgow’s Queen Street Station is a 20 minute walk from the Hilton Glasgow. Alternatively, taxis are widely available outside the station building. The taxi far is approximately £6.00.

Traveling from Edinburgh International Airport
At junction 18, exit on the right onto A804. Taking a slight left onto St George's Road (A804) and continue to follow A804. Turn left onto William Street and take the first right to arrive at Hilton Glasgow.

Walking from the City Center (Buchanan Street)
From Buchanan Steet head onto Bath Street towards East Bath St Lane. Continue on there for half a mile and then turn left onto Pitt St, walk along for approx 0.2 miles. Turn right onto St. Vincent St for 0.1 miles and take a slight left to stay on St. Vincent St. Turn left at Newton St/A804 for 289ft then turn left again onto William Street. Continue for 167 feet and then turn right. Hilton Hotel will then be on your right hand side.

Traveling by Car
From the East (M8): At junction 18, exit on the right onto A804. Taking a slight left onto St George's Road (A804) and continue to follow A804. Turn left onto William Street and take the first right to arrive at Hilton Glasgow. From the West (M8): Exit toward A198/Clydebank/Anderson. Keep right at the fork to continue toward Pitt Street taking a left onto Pitt Street. Take the first left onto St Vincent Street, verging left to stay on St Vincent turn left onto Newton Street. Take first onto William Street and take the first right to arrive at Hilton Glasgow.

Traveling by Bus
From the East: City Link run a regular bus service between Edinburgh and Glasgow. The number 900 picks up from numerous locations in Edinburgh and terminate at Buchanan Bus Station in Glasgow city center. Glasgow city center is only a short walk away from Hilton Glasgow.
